MEET OUR PASTOR

Chinetta “China” Jackson is the Founder and Lead Pastor of Church Unusual, where “WE DO GOD DIFFERENT," and Removing the Mask Ministry. In overcoming her past experiences with physical and mental abuse, she finds fulfillment in ministering to individuals who have endured domestic violence, suicidal ideation, and self-image impediments. In 2023, Pastor China faced breast cancer head-on and WON!  Her ministry empowers individuals to find freedom through transparent living based on biblical principles.

In addition to her pastoral duties, Pastor China has demonstrated significant business expertise across multiple industries. Her professional endeavors include roles as a Financial Advisor and Christian Counselor to name a few.  Pastor China holds a bachelor’s degree in Christian Counseling from Christian Bible Institute and is the recipient of the 2024 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for public service in the Houston community.

She is also an entrepreneur, having founded “Got2 Bling It” and “Good God

Gear”, which design Christian-themed apparel, and “It Is Well Juice Company,” which offers nutritious juices that promote healthy eating habits. Pastor China effectively combines faith with practical solutions to assist individuals in achieving success, regardless of their background or personal circumstances. Her dynamic approach to ministry is reflected by her commitment to "be the bible" that someone may read, to inspire their own personal relationship with Jesus Christ....because It's NOT religion...It's NOT tradition...IT'S RELATIONSHIP!
